As you walk through the mixed woodland leading up to the towering tall folly designed for Stourhead's owner Henry Hoare II in 1772, one can't help but lose themself in wonder as you step over autumn foliage in fiery russet, deep hues of red with hints of olive green. The beautiful yellow reflected in the lakes at sundown minds us of how truly magical and beautiful the autumnal season is.
