- Aso-Oke (pronounced ah-SHOW-kay) is short for Aso Ilu Oke which means clothes from the up-country. It is also sometimes referred to as Aso-Ofi. It is a handwoven cloth made mostly by the Yoruba tribe of southwest Nigeria.
- Please note the Aso-Oke used in this beautiful cross bag/ clutch is more than 25 years old, It was passed on to me as a family heirloom. Any imperfection on the fabric is not a flaw, it shows the age and uniqueness of this special piece.
