There are moments in a creative journey when you pause and realise just how far the work has travelled.
I’m delighted to share that I was recently interviewed by FashionEvo Style, where I had the opportunity to talk about my creative journey, my inspirations, and the story behind Anita Quansah London.
For me, creating has always been about much more than making beautiful things. It is a way of communicating what lives within me. I create because the spirit within needs a vessel to communicate whether through jewellery, textiles, mixed-media artwork or wearable art.
My work brings together craftsmanship, cultural storytelling and an appreciation for the unexpected. I love transforming found and reclaimed materials into pieces that invite conversation, challenge perceptions and celebrate individuality.
In the interview, I share more about my journey as an artist and designer, the experiences that have shaped my creative practice, and the inspiration behind my work. I also reflect on what it means to create pieces that can move between art, fashion and personal expression.
Being featured by FashionEvo Style is a beautiful opportunity to share not only what I create, but why I create.
Every piece carries a story. Every material has a possibility. And every creation is an invitation to see beauty differently.
I’m grateful to FashionEvo Style for taking the time to explore my journey and give me a platform to share the story behind the work.
