Washable Multi-Coloured Sequin Pearly Fang Facemask with Rhinestones

Staying safe doesn't have to be boring and irresponsible. We can all remain stylish while being sustainably conscious about our choices, and the value and joy it brings to our daily needs.

So, to make a great quality face mask that will last, and serve the wearer well, it matters to me to upcycle as many textile off-cuts as possible. Mindfully using them to create one of a kind statement safety wears that are different from the rest.

For this design, I have refashioned a textured, multi-coloured off-cut fabric, into a face mask, which I have defined with fanged red lips with rhinestones to bear a resemblance to a braced mouth biting onto a pearly bead.

All these details, I have incorporated into this magnificent piece of wearable art to add an element of quirkiness and eccentricity.

This mask is handmade with multiple layers which form the design. Beneath the assembled parts is 100% printed silk satin which I have used in the lining.

This face mask optimises breathability, and it is very comfortable to wear. It also features para-cord straps which can be tied behind the head of the wearer.

This mask is not N95 or FDA rated, it is specifically designed as preventative safety wear to shield your face, mouth, and nose. The wearing of a face mask such as this could still reduce the transmissibility of viral particles by a small but significant amount, enough to make a difference to you and others.
